Slant/Fin’s Hydronic Explorer 2 program is available at no charge as a download (171 MB, self-extracting file). After filling out the online registration, select "Download" from the "Type of delivery" menu and then follow the directions on the download page.

Installing Hydronic Explorer 2

Hydronic Explorer 2 is intended for use on a personal computer using Microsoft Windows. To install, do the following:

1. Close all other programs that you have running
2. Download Hydronic Explorer 2. After agreeing to the terms of use, the Install screen will automatically appear with the Hydronic Explorer Program (Heatloss Express module) already selected. You may also select the following items if you wish to install them on your computer -
   • Product Brochures (viewable pages) - 14MB
   • Product Literature (printable pages) - 279MB
   • Technical Publications (Adobe PDFs) - 53MB
   We highly recommend that you install all four components of the HE2 software.
3. Click the Install button. The software will be installed in the folder shown and the Slant/Fin Hydronic Explorer 2 icon will appear on your desktop.

If the Install screen fails to appear, do the following:

1. Click the Start button on the taskbar, then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type the drive letter of your CD-ROM followed by a colon and a backslash, then “setup.exe” (omit the quotation marks). For example, if the drive letter for your CD-ROM is D, you would type: D:\setup.exe.
3. Click OK. After agreeing to the terms of use, click Install when the Install screen appears.
